Dynamic Rockers Anniversary

This past weekend the PBT hit the Big Apple for the 2nd time in 3 weeks. This time the tour was there to celebrate one of the most legendary crews in Break history. Dynamic Rockers. Celebrating their 38 years of existence, Dynamic Ann was set to be a celebration of nearly 4 decades. Unlike many of the older generation crews, Dynamic has kept it a family affair with Glyde’s son Kid Glyde running the crew for the last decade. Dynamic has stayed true to its roots and been one of the most active crews in NYC since Kid Glyde took over.

Dynamic Rockers Ann featured a 5 vs 5 crew battle for:

• $1,250 for first place (5 checks of $250)
• $750 for second place (5 checks of $150)
• $200 for semi-final losers = $400 (10 checks of $40)
• Sub-total for 5-v-5 competition = $2,400

With NY’s top crews expected to come out and represent, it was only right to have top world class judges at the event and on that end, when we write “world class” we mean WORLD CLASS. Thesis, Born, and El Nino….pfffffff. Talk about a line up.

The DJ’s for the event: DJ EX, Brett Rock and Dredel held it down all night long on the wheels of steel.

Top 8 Bracket
X-Fenz Vs Full Circle = Full Circle moves on.
Street Beasts Vs Floor Lords = Street Beast takes out Boston’s own Floor Lords.
International Flavor Vs NBK = NBK takes the W.
Rhythm Jungle Lifestyle Vs Floor Obsessions = Rhythm Jungle Lifestyle moves on to the semis.

Semifinals
Full Circle Vs NBK = Full Circle makes it to the finals.
Rhythm Jungle Lifestyle Vs Street Beasts = Street Beast knocks out RJL.

Finals
