Introducing our newest guest blogger…

As you may have heard, we recently opened up the opportunity for members of the community to contribute to our site periodically as guest bloggers. We’d like to be able to further utilize the blog as a platform for writers who have something to share or express with others in the community. We’ve┬áreceived several great submissions which we are still narrowing down, and would like to introduce you to our first guest blogger, Jonathan Chan from Southern Cali:

Student, writer, and bboy, Jonathan Chan sees all these aspects as parts to the bigger picture: life. Breaking now for about 6 years he seeks not only to learn the skills and technique of the dance, but the knowledge and history of the culture itself. The more we know, the more we grow. It is with this focus that Jonathan teaches kids in his Southern California hometown about all that he knows about the craft. Helping to put together jams, organizing local session spots, and giving back to dance that has already given him so much. Currently a student at the University of California, Riverside and president of the bboy club, he attempts to involve his passion for writing with his love for breaking. To document the stories and information about this culture is the ultimate goal so that others may have access to it. Inspiration is up for grabs and he wants to get the word out.

Welcome to the team, Jonathan!
