New At The Spot: Vintage Gear
Over a span of about 10 years, Mex One has not only mastered the skill of thrift store shopping, but has managed to acquire a ridiculously dope and enormous collection of vintage track jackets, sweaters, and gear. Now that it’s to the point where we’re basically swimming in it, Mex has decided it’s time to part ways and let some of these pieces go. It was a tough decision that literally took years to come to, but in the end he’d rather see bboys & bgirls rocking the gear than having it stored away in his secret vintage arsenal not being rocked at all. So without further ado, we present to you our new Vintage Goods section of The Bboy Spot Webstore!
The term ‘vintage’ is used to describe an article of clothing that is at least 20 years old, and clearly representative of the era in which it was produced. Vintage clothing can be used or new (from deadstock). Keep in mind that because the sizes of clothing tend to vary from era to era (meaning, what people considered a ‘Large’ in the 70′s is different from what we consider a ‘Large’ now) it’s best to refer to the measurements provided for each garment to determine if the size is good for you. We’ll be updating the Vintage Goods section frequently, so keep checking back for new additions!
