TBT: One Love to Freestyle Session!

Coming up in the game there was one website that I’ve always gone to back in the days around 99-2000. That site was Freestylesession.com. I remember the days (before even Wi-fi was around) here i watched a clip of Boy HaviKORO doing some crazy elbow air flares. I would follow the threads, topics, debates and even the drama that were taking place in our community. I was a kid in the background but I always reading and taking notes.

Freestyle Session 5 was also one of the best videos I had ever seen. Till this day, the video inspires me. I’d always want to head out to Session and in 2004 I finally did. One of my best experiences ever! Later on that year, I held Evolution 2 in Orlando and Cros1 founder of Freestyle Session came out to show his support. Since then we have become great friends and support each other non-stop.

I’ve never truly had a mentor but I can say Cros has always been there when I’ve called. One of the few people to truly give me great advice in certain areas of promoting and clothing. For that I am forever thankful. Much love to my brotha Cros and I wish him nothing but more success in the future.
