Hello:
I am very excited to be coming to this HUGE event. I’m from Toronto but living in London. Now, I arrive to Bratislava airport after 8pm…to my understanding the train doesn’t run after 6pm (is that right?). So im looking into taking the bus, approximately how long is the bus ride? Do you recommend my waiting til morning to take the train or should I take the bus?
Thank you for your help,
JuLo
Hi Judi,
glad you are coming thru
. Direct bus from Bratislava to Banska Bystrica takes usually 3 hours. You can check the schedule of buses and trains at http://cp.atlas.sk/vlakbus/spojenie/ , please choose English on the bottom right for better understanding
.
Well, if you should take a bus, then we recommend a direct bus. If you can get a direct bus then it should be easy. Bus ride is not so bad and it usually takes a little less time than riding a train.
Peace,
I can reach at any time, without any problems from Budapest to Banska-Bystrica?
Coming to Banska Bystrica from Budapest is little more complicated than from Vienna or Bratislava. You can see train or bus connections via this site http://cp.atlas.sk/vlakbus/spojenie/ (there is english option on the bottom right) Once in Budapest, it may be easier to go first to Bratislava and then to BB from Bratislava.
